You spent your Sundays worshiping Maranello’s finest. Your trinity consisted of the Enzo, the Dino, and the horizontal pistons. There is no greater sound to your ears than Psalm 512 by a 12 cylinder choir.
BBiblical (first run) was my first submission to Blipshift, an automotive-themed apparel and artwork company.
I took my Ferrari 512i BB vector painting and made it monochromatic to be easier to screen print. This involved adjusting some of the line placements and also removing a few design elements like the door locks and the hood ornament.
I love the vibrant Ferrari red that Blipshift chose for the shirt base (they called it Rosso Shirto). They also offered it as a poster print in a matching red background.
If I were to prepare this artwork again for screen printing, I would make the thin lines more pronounced and merge some of the shapes together. A few customers had issues with the ink peeling off their shirts after a few washes due to how thin the lines were.
