The Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer (BB) was a mid-engined sports car with a flat-12 powerhouse mounted directly behind the seats. The 512i specifically introduced fuel injection, producing cleaner emissions as well as giving the Italian horses slightly friendlier dispositions. They were limited production, with just over one thousand specimens rolled off of the assembly line.
