Tea tin labels

Many tea enthusiasts prefer loose leaf tea, and these tea tin labels keep each tea’s essential details right where it matters most.

Solving a need

I designed these tea tin labels for my own use, to help me manage my loose leaf tea collection.  I wanted simple and easy-to-read labels that had all of the important information for each variety of tea. They also needed to be easily printable from sticker sheets available at my local office supply store.

After taking a trip to the store, I came home with two sizes of sticker sheet. The manufacturer has Microsoft Word templates available for free, but I couldn’t get them to print consistently. Instead, I took careful measurements of the sticker sheets and created a new template for each in Adobe Illustrator. This gave me full control of the design of each label, and how it prints.

The larger 2.5″ circular labels are for the jars in my tea cabinet, and fit nicely on the lids. The smaller labels fit well on little metal sample tins that I use to make up care packages and samples.
