Houseplant care tag

Like a lot of other houseplant caretakers, I’m not great about remembering to water them. My indoor garden was very much survival of the fittest until I found a few solutions to help me out. One of those is a plant moisture sensor that changes color depending on whether the soil is wet or dry, and the other is my own design.

My houseplant care tag hangs on the edge of nearly any size pot, and is easy to write on. This gives me a quick, easy-to-read reference whenever I do the rounds and check each of my plants. With the moisture sensor and the care tag, I know whether to water and how much each time.

I offered it as a product in my online shop for a while once I finalized the design. I ran into a number of issues though, since the white 3D printing filament easily picked up lint, fuzz, and all sorts of weird things. While trying to fulfill orders, I was getting more flawed tags than good ones, so I chose to discontinue it as a ready-made product.

I do still have the STL file available, though, for people that want to print the tags themselves.
