The owner of this customized and modified 2013 BMW M3 (E92 chassis) commissioned a photoshoot of their car to showcase its unique appeal. It’s everything a modern driver’s car should be: fast, loud, and fun.

The custom performance carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser give this car an aggressive, sporty look. It was truly a pleasure to get up close and capture every detail this car has to offer. Sleek, clean lines and flawless paint compliment the M3 well, and the silhouette is instantly recognizable.

Admittedly, I have a special connection to this particular car, not just as photographer and subject for a one-time photoshoot. It’s not just a car, it’s a memory. Late night runs to In-n-Out for fries and milkshakes, and trying not to get ketchup on the leather seats. Long road trips up to the big city and back, watching the multi-colored lights on the highway streak past. Heart-to-heart talks in the way that only happens on the open road with close friends.

The roar of a V8, nervous giggles as we try to learn how to do burnouts, and falling asleep in heated seats as we drive home from a long day of autocross.

It’s not just the ultimate driving machine. This M3 is a companion, and a friend, and a part of the family.
