I lovingly designed the Resol’nare pendant in tribute to Star Wars and the complex, intriguing Mandalorian culture created for it. The lettering and the shape of the pendant itself both pay homage to motifs within this fictional culture.

Six Actions, Six Sides

The number six is an important motif in Mandalorian culture. There are six sides to the kar’ta, the geometric crest in the center of their chest armor. And the Resol’nare, the core tenets of their culture, boil down to Six Actions governing their way of life.

Each side of the pendant has one of these Six Actions’ names, written in both the Mando’a language and script.

Production

These pendants were initially cast in high-quality lead-free brass, and later cast in 925 sterling silver. The overall length is 2.25″ or 57mm, and the stainless steel chain provides a contrast to the bright color of the brass.

I made a very small batch to share among close friends as passionate about their love for Star Wars as I am. Many of them cosplay within various groups including the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club, and the pendants look fantastic with their armor.
