The Mazda MX-5, known as the Miata in North America, is the best-selling two-seat convertible sports car in history. The NC, or third-generation model, is a continuation of a fifteen year tradition of lightweight, small engined, nimble little cars. While it is bigger and heavier than the previous two generations, the NC brings slightly more power to the table, and in the hands of a proper driver is nothing less than formidable on the track. NC Miatas frequently outpace much larger and more powerful cars on tracks like Laguna Seca due to their ability to carry speed well through corners.
